Merc Mag scales of base bullet damage, a stat celeste is near the top of the roster. Not total % weapon damage, a stat she does not care. MM dps also scales with fire rate and spirit power, two stats celeste loves to build and notably gets amped a lot by her T3 daggers. With KDash and Rapid Recharge it allows Celeste to extend her magazine and reload bullets near infinitely without needing to reload. It also allows her to spam daggers and quickly get to 6x amp, while having the damage buffed by the item. With all of these, Merc Mag ends up being one of the best m1 dps options for Celeste, while solving her small magazine and reload problem
