The best counter items against The Doorman are Metal Skin, Disarming Hex and Bullet Resilience, with Metal Skin yielding the strongest results. Metal Skin helps enemies live through bullet pressure, which can waste The Doorman's best damage window. Disarming Hex is a major problem because it can shut down a key play right when The Doorman wants to start or finish a fight. Bullet Resilience helps enemies soak weapon damage, so The Doorman may need more time or help to secure the kill. Most top-performing counter purchases are vitality items that disrupt The Doorman's ability timings, cleanse debuffs, and mitigate damage in team fights.
